Benefits of a Colon Cleansing Home Remedy
There is much in the news these days about colon cleansing and much of what is said revolves around the notion that a decent colon cleansing home remedy can yield huge positive results when the colon cleansing home remedy is used to deal with common colon ailments. Of course, there are those skeptics who feel that home remedies are not as beneficial as those remedies that may be provided in the form of over the counter medicine or other such common treatments. To a certain extent, this is somewhat accurate as there has been a great deal of “quackery” in the home remedy realm, but there have also been some great benefits provided as well. In a way, the merits of a colon cleansing home remedy must be examined on an individual basis as opposed to making sweeping generalities. Sadly, sweeping generalities are the norm as opposed to the exception.
A Word on Home Remedies in General
You have probably read a great deal about home remedies and if you have read a great deal on the subject then you may even be somewhat confused in terms of the merits of said home remedies. After all, there will be those television talk shows that will rave about the merits of home remedies as well as there will be those talk shows that will be somewhat skeptical in regards to the benefits of home remedies. Honestly, the truth lies somewhere in the middle as some home remedies are effective while others are not. Ultimately, the answer as to whether or not the remedies can be successful depends upon what they are promising to deliver. If there is a home remedy that claims to cure incurable diseases (and, yes, such dubious products offering such dubious claims do exist) such a product is best avoided. Now, if the home remedy falls into the category of offering a cheaper and less harsh alternative to chemical products and deal with common, benign ailments then the home remedy is probably far more legitimate. Thankfully, mostly all of the colon cleansing home remedy products on the market fall into this category.
Colon Cleansing Home Remedy – Trial and Error
Ultimately, only experience can prove if a colon cleansing home remedy can work or not. If a person purchases such a remedy or, more likely, purchases the instructions of how to make a home remedy and it works, it would be difficult to prove otherwise. Hence, a the merits of a colon cleansing home remedy truly rest on trail and error methods to prove their positives.

Home Remedy For Colon Cleansing
Colon cleansing needn’t be a dramatic affair producing picture-worthy poo. If your goal is to have a healthy colon – especially if you have trouble with constipation and painful gas – then a home remedy for colon cleansing may just be all of the cleansing you safely need. If you have painful constipation or any other intestinal problem that does not resolve itself with over the counter remedies for more than two weeks, you really need to go see your doctor. Sometimes prescription medications can cause painful constipation. Talk to your doctor about that. This home remedy for colon cleansing is not meant to replace a doctor’s advice.
Fiber, Fiber and Fiber
Guess what the home remedy for colon cleansing consists of? That’s right – fiber. Not only does fiber get the digestive system moving, it also helps give you that “full” feeling so hopefully you won’t overeat so much. The average adult is recommended to get 25-30 grams of fiber daily. We usually get this fiber through our diets, but if you haven’t been eating so healthily lately, or know that you are going to be too busy to cook and eat properly (say, with a big project or exams coming up), then you can still get your fiber by taking fiber powders or capsules.
The first part of the home remedy for colon cleansing is taking a fiber powder or pill supplement. There is even tasty fiber filled herbal teas on the market. And fiber cereals have gotten tastier over the years. You don’t need to eat fiber cereals AND have a fiber supplement. Usually one or the other is okay. If you do take a fiber pill or powder, be sure to take it with a full glass of water.
Water, Water and Water
The second part of the home remedy for colon cleansing is to drink six to eight glasses of water or clear healthy fluids per day. Coffee, alcohol and caffeinated soft drinks do not count. They can dehydrate you and cause constipation. Water, fruit juices, herbal teas and green teas are a great and tasty way to get the fluids you need to keep you moving. Yes, you will have to go to the bathroom more often, but that’s sort of the point.
Regular Exercise
The last part of the home remedy for colon cleansing is to exercise regularly. This can be walking the dog a half hour a day, swimming, yoga routines or whatever you prefer. Walking to the store and back instead of driving (if it’s less than a mile away) is also a healthy option. With the water and the fiber, you should feel more energetic.
